Winifred Marie Kujacznski

Kujacznski, Winifred Marie, age 83, passed away on February 12, 2023, surrounded by her children and family. Winifred was born February 13, 1939, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold and Marie (Anich) Hoffman. “Winnie” lived in Flushing for many years until she moved to Hubbard Lake in 1999. She was able to spend a few months enjoying her apartment in Portage, Michigan before her passing.

Anyone who knew “Winnie” knew she loved playing cards, fishing, going to garage sales, and taking trips to the casino. She loved painting, wallpapering, and helping out the people she worked for over the years. She also loved visits from her family and spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She often shared stories and made her favorite dishes for others to enjoy. One of the most recent memories of Winnie was making cabbage rolls with her daughter and preparing a Thanksgiving meal for some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Winifred is survived by her daughters; Debra Stoinski, Tracey (Dennis) Simpkins, Melody (Steve) Keeler, and Rayna (Todd) Roddie; son, Bradley Urbeck; sister Valerie (Steve) Blakely as well as her 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Winifred is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Marie Hoffman; husband, Raymond V. Kujacznski Jr; son, Gregory Urbeck; sister, Faye Dickenson; brother, Harold Hoffman Jr; and son-in-law, Gary Stoinski.

To honor her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private luncheon for immediate family members will be held at a later date. A special thank you to the staff at Woodhaven Assisted Living and to The Medical Team (Hospice) for the care given to Winnie during this last journey before she went home to be with the Lord.

Winnie’s obituary was lovingly written by her family.

    Mom,
It’s been a little over a week and I still can’t get my head around the fact you’re gone. It was going to be so nice finally having you close to home, it saddens me to think about what should have been. I know you’re at peace at with dad, not to mention all your family and friends you have missed through the years. I know you will be the angel we all need, always looking after us. Until we see each other again. I love you with all my heart, and miss you dearly. 💔😘
