William Prim Jr.
Prim, William J. Jr (Bill) 78 years old left his earthly home to be with God and dwell in the house of the Lord forever on June 5, 2026. Preceded in death by his parents William J Prim Sr. and Irene Prim. Surviving family are his beloved daughter Jennifer Bisco, husband Joe, Grandson Mason, Great grandsons Rowan and Finley, sisters Marsha Martin Kingston, OK, CaraLee King Grand Blanc. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, his cherished cat Riley, and many great friends.
Bill graduated Lake Fenton HS, class of 1966. Immediately upon graduation he went to work at A.C. Spark Plug, Flint. After a brief career there his employment was interrupted by a telegram from Uncle Sam. Bill proudly served his country being honorably discharged four years later. Upon returning Bill found his job still available and eagerly went back to work. He attended Skill Trades school and became an electrician. Deciding to become his own boss, Bill eventually took an early retirement and became co-owner/manager of Holly Antiques on Main.
During his golden years Bill revisited an old area he loved, The Arts. In so doing he began creating drawings and wonderful oil paintings. Many works depict past seasons of his life, for example log cabins, store fronts, historical churches, and most recently the Holly Train Depot.
His celebration of life will be held at Grand Blanc United Methodist Church, 515 Bush Ave., Grand Blanc on Monday June 29 at 3pm. Subsequent interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, date to be announced.

Unfortunately growing old isn’t kind to most. Bill was a great guy. I remember him coming to our thanksgiving dinners, always enjoyed talking with him. When he owned the antique shop in holly I would stop in and chat whenever I got the chance or at least to say hi. Just a kind man. Love and prayers for all the family.
To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have such good memories of Bill. I saw him recently, and was able to sit and chat for a few minutes. I am grateful for that moment. He will be missed. My prayers are being lifted, for strength and comfort in such a difficult time.
Bill and family have been close friends since meeting him through Holly Antiques On Main many years ago. His many talents, experiences, and visions made it hard not to enjoy being in his group of friends. He will certainly be missed by each of us who have called him family or friend.

The Lake Fenton High School Class of 1966 is very sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. Bill was a very quiet person and liked by all. Prayers to the family.

My condolences to Bill’s friends and family. I painted will Bill at the Loose center and he was such an inspiration and wonderful artist. He did such impressive 3 d artwork with lights and realistic pieces. He was such an interesting man and knew so much History of Holly. Rest in peace Bill we will miss you.
