Teresa Lee Coffman

Teresa Lee Coffman, age 63, of Burton, Michigan passed away on August 6, 2026, with her two children by her side.

Teresa was born on September 21, 1962, in Keyser, West Virginia to Mary Frances Fury and William Edward Coffman Sr. She moved to Michigan where she went on to have two children, Dean and Matthew. Anyone who knew her, knows her sons were her world. Her boys affectionately called her “TT.”

TT was not only a mom to her biological kids, but a mom to everyone. She would take in any family member or friend of her sons and raise them as if they were her own. You could always count on her having a house full of kids. She gave unconditional love to everyone.

She loved going all out for the holidays, and as soon as it was the Christmas season you could find her in the kitchen baking. Everyone will greatly miss her peanut butter blossoms, fudge, and rock candy. You may have been lucky enough to go home with some of her delicious treats, or even party in her kitchen on Christmas Eve. Nobody threw down for the holidays like TT.

TT loved 90’s R&B and having fun with her crew – going to cookouts and sipping on peppermint schnapps. Good luck trying to get her to drink anything but. When she wasn’t working, you could find her spending time with her family. She loved being around them, and going to all the games and events for the kids whenever she could. TT loved to be near the water (Tawas was her favorite) and visiting family in West Virginia.

She is survived by her loving children Dean Fuller Jr. and Matthew Coffman, daughter-in-law Nicole Coffman, grandson King Coffman; and siblings Frances Hall, William “Butch” Coffman Jr., Margaret Coffman and Christopher Coffman. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Frances Fury, William Edward Coffman Sr. and stepmother Betty Louise Coffman.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 3:00 pm, at Detroit Cremation Society, 8253 S. Saginaw St, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Visitation will take place from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm. Cremation will follow.

Please join us afterwards as we continue to celebrate TT’s life at Irene’s Craft Kitchen & Biergarten, beginning approximately at 4:00 pm.
