Age 74, of Grand Blanc, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw. Mass of Christian Burial will take place, Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 10:00 am, at the Church of the Holy Family, in Grand Blanc. Fr. Joe Krupp will officiate with cremation to follow. On Thursday, Suzanne will be taken to church to lie in state from 9:30 until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be considered to The Cottages at Tawas Point. Envelopes will be available at the church. Suzanne was born in Flint, on December 23, 1946, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and June (Altman) Campbell. Suzanne graduated from St. Agnes Catholic High School in 1964 and continued her education earning a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Michigan-Flint. She married Joseph F. Kushuba on April 10, 1970.

Suzanne’s career path would lead her to teach at Holy Family Catholic Elementary School in Grand Blanc. After leaving to raise her four children, she then taught at Fenton Lawn Headstart in Flint for over 15 years. Her and her husband Joe spent the last six years of his career traveling the world.

Suzanne was faithful throughout her life, serving as a member of the Church of the Holy Family until her last moments. Suzanne loved and lived for the moments she shared with her family and grandkids at their beach house in East Tawas. She also enjoyed kayaking, biking, walking, and traveling to Chicago, Oregon, Florida and Hilton Head.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children; Chad Kushuba, Kara and husband, Tom Grasso, Stef, and husband Rob Ross, Nick and wife, Alyssa Kushuba, 11 grandchildren; Estella, Lucia, Sadie Sue, Duke, Norah, Walker, Addison, Bishop, Joey, Jack, and Andrew, and siblings; Carol and husband, Dave Southward, Debbie and husband, David Arnott, and Patricia (Gail) Campbell.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents; John and June Campbell, and her life long love, husband; Joseph Kushuba.
