Susan Elaine Maddox


Age 65, of Grand Blanc, passed away on March 9, 2023. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Susan’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

Susan Elaine Maddox was born on June 8, 1957, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert and Beverly (Hemenway) Cummings. She loved bowling, visiting with family, reading & online games.

Susan worked at Dana Corp in St Clair as a quality auditor up until her diagnosis. She is loved by all that knew and came into contact with her. She had a big heart & would help anyone if she could.

Susan is survived by her daughters; Jennifer Dallaire, Jamy (Maurice) Dyson, and Rhonda Humphrey, son; Bruce Dallaire, grandchildren; Chans, Audrianna, Kenneth Jr., Alexandra, Savannah, Hannah, Cobi, Adrianna, Jesse, Cameron and Kerri, great-grandchildren; Samuel, Jakobe, Jayce, Alleyah, Aleila, Ameir, Alijah, and Kora, sisters; Sandy Dennis (Ed), Sharla (Joe) Jelinek, and Sharon Horak, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents; Herbert and Beverly Cummings, brothers; Randy Cummings and Russ Cummings, niece; Katie Torstenson, and grandson; Christopher Dallaire.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

    I played with Susan as a child. We were cousins and Aunt Beverly was my favorite..just recently I tried to renew our friendship but there wasn’t much time!! You were loved Susan and God Bless your family. Fly high with the angels cousin❤🙏🌹
