Sandra Lee Glover
Ms. Sandra Lee Glover, 81, of Flint, Michigan, passed away on December 13th 2023. She went to Heaven to be with the Lord on the exact same date that her husband did in 2007.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 30th, 1942, to Leslie Curtis and Louise Kincheloe.
Sandra was known as Sweet Sassy Sandy at Lockwood of Genesee, a beautiful, independent senior facility in Flint, Michigan. With the wonderful compassionate supportive staff, her many friends, and her daughter; Sandra, were able to maintain her independence during her last four years of her life.
She was always upbeat, making jokes, and brought laughter to many of the residents, all while dealing with her disease, Lewy Body Dementia (LBD).
Sandra enjoyed playing cards and board games, Wii-Bowling, Bingo and doing crafts with the other residents. She also loved it when Elvis would come to entertain. She would stand up and shake her hips, dancing and singing her heart out. Sandra was also the owner of Michigan Sign Inc. with her husband for over 20 years.
Sandra is survived by her daughter; Marlene (Glover) Hicks, and her son-in-law; Larry Hicks. She is also survived by her sister; Diane Yankee, her brother; Donald Curtis and wife Lois, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Jeremy Sevier, her long time employee of Michigan Sign Center. He helped to run the business and he was like a son to her and her beloved husband/business owner Gary Glover.
Sandra was predeceased by her beloved husband; Gary Glover, her son; Douglas Alan, her sister; Carol St. Amand, and both of her parents.
A memorial will be held at the Lockwood of Genesee On Jan 5th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm Sandra’s wishes were to be cremated and her ashes to be joined with her husband.
She will be greatly missed.
