Sandra Lee Curtis was born on May 21, 1947, in Pomeroy, Ohio, the daughter of William Thomas and Milly Cook.

Surviving Sandra are her husband Lewis Leroy Curtis, her son Martin Lewis Curtis, her daughter Patricia Lloyd, her step-son David Curtis, her three grandsons; Aleczander Curtis, Alexander Perez, Isaac Curtis, her two granddaughters; Vanessa Gibbs, Aimee Curtis, her eight siblings; Sharon Kochan, Howard Lemaster, Edna Lemaster, Gail Lemaster, Janet Ledger, Joe Lemaster, Dean Lemaster, and Lester Lemaster Jr.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, William Thomas, and her mother Milly Cook, and her sister, Melva Burkett.
