Paul Anthony Vara, age 49, of Flint, Michigan passed away on October 21, 2025. He was born in Miami, Florida on September 19, 1976 to Mr. and Mrs. Stephen and Susan (Callahan) Vara.

Paul attended Clio High school before continuing his education at Michigan State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technologies. In the years that followed, he obtained his Masters of Business Administration.  He spent his career as a medical laboratory scientist and later focused in quality management.

Paul will be remembered for his sense of adventure, humor, and infectious laughter. He loved traveling, music, reading, swimming, cycling and spending time with family and friends. Most of all, Paul cherished the time he spent with his son, making memories that included building and launching rockets, riding bikes and exploring their shared curiosity for science.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved son Liam Vara, former wife Sara Seabright, and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Susan Vara and by his grandparents Anthony and Josephine Vara, and William and Geraldine Callahan. A private graveside ceremony for family will be held at a later date.
