Age 80, Ofelia Rodriguez of Montrose, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Ofelia’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

Ofelia Rodriguez was born on October 12, 1945 in Donna, Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel and Maria (Salazar) Montalvo ,

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Felix Rodriguez Jr, children Ricky and wife Debi Rodriguez, Irene Rodriguez Brown, Grandchildren Erica Ann Brown, Vincent Mark Larkin, and 5 great grandchildren as well as 4 of 9 siblings.

Ofelia was preceded in death by her parents Mr and Mrs Daniel Montalvo, Grandson Charles Leroy Brown Jr, brothers Micheal, Daniel, and sisters Guadalupe, Eva, and Esperanza 

Ofelia loved to travel,  plant flowers , cook delicious mexican food. She also enjoyed going to bingo and the casino. She will forever be missed.
