Age 64, of Clio, passed away on February 12, 2023. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 29, 2023; at Colonial Hills Baptist Church; 5375 Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris. Family will be present to receive friends from 9:30 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. Michael John Leahy was born on December 8, 1958, in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Loraynne (Robbins) Leahy. He graduated from Marquette Senior High School in 1977. Mike worked for Hurley Hospital in Flint, Michigan as an environmental services health care worker for over twenty years.

At an early age, Mike began building model cars, and in adulthood enjoyed restoring classic cars. Mike was a dog lover and had several beloved pets throughout his life. In retirement, he spent many summer days camping and sailing his model boats on the campground lake.

Michael is survived by his twin sister; Katherine (Joseph) Weisshappel, and his beloved partner; Kim Charters. He is also survived by his maternal aunts; Margaret (Fred) Simpkins and Rose Evans, his maternal uncle; Andrew (Sandy) Robbins, and several cousins.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother; John.
