Beth, I was so sorry when Ted reached out with the news of Mike’s passing. I can’t imagine your feelings of loss after a lifetime together. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts. Michael was someone for whom I always held such great respect. He was such a bright, talented, witty and loving man. Though it’s been years and years since we were all together, I feel lucky to have known him. Xo

We are heartbroken for Michael, his friends and family. To say the world is a much smaller place now without him in it understates his endless genuine kindness for others no matter what life threw at him or how hard he was struggling. Grace personified under fire, he was without question a warrior. Even as he struggles Mike would ask “how are you doing”. I will miss his quick laser like thinking when it came to shotgunning question about woodworking, something he had a true passion and talent for and his genuine appreciation of others. It is my hope that when the angels call for me I will see my friend Mike waiting !! We pray his family and friends find comfort in their memories and love that Mike showered them with over his lifetime.

Michael is my best and longest friend. My memory of things long past has gone, but Mike was my memory. He recalled everything. Losing him is like losing part of myself. I will always miss him and that hole in my life will never be filled. But neither will my memory of Mike and his family.

To say that Michael was a great man, I an understatement. He touched so many lives with positivity, always encouraging, forever their cheerleader. A true and genuine friend, teacher, mentor to so many. The time he spent with my son, for my son…I know he will always treasure. And I will be forever grateful. He was a true gift to this world, I could have never thanked him enough for all that he has done for my son and so many others in the community.
