Michael Anthony Kurzyniec


Michael Anthony Kurzyniec, Age 47, of Brighton, Michigan, passed away on February 9, 2024. Michael was born on October 15, 1976, in Rochester, Michigan, the son of Rich Kurzyniec and Karen (Moorhead) Ziegler. Michael was a carpenter with his company Divine Decks LLC. He loved fishing, music, and spending time with his kids. He was a good friend to many and will be dearly missed.

Michael is survived by his children Alexis Kurzyniec, Lily Kurzyniec, Michael Kurzyniec, Jacob Boylan; his siblings Jesse (Ann) Kurzyniec, Sarah (Rocky) Watts, Leah (Andrew) Rowland, Britney (Stefanos) Doulos, Chris Soulliere Nott, Cathy Sesto, and Donna Walton; his mother Karen (Jim) Ziegler. Michael is preceded in death by his father Rich Kurzyniec.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life viewing will take place from 10:00am to 12:00pm, on March 8, 2024, at Detroit Cremation Society, 8253 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. Following the celebration of life, a burial will take place at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, 34205 5 Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154 at 1:30pm.

On Saturday, March 9th, there will be a celebration of life party and luncheon from 11:00am to 3:00pm at VFW Post 4357, 10590 Grand River Rd, Brighton, MI 48116.
