I grew up in the neighborhood with Ricky and Tyler. Melinda was always like a second mom to us. Whenever we needed something, she was there. She treated us like family and I loved talking with her even through adulthood. I remember one time as a kid everyone forgot my birthday. The day went by and we were over at their house, next thing I know Melinda comes out of the house with a fudgsicle with a candle in it and everyone sang Happy Birthday and it was a memory I will never forget. I thought about Melinda about a week before she passed and wanted to call her but didn’t which makes me sad because soon after that, I found out she had passed. I wish I had called her when I thought about it that last time. Love you Rick and Tyler and I hope you guys know I’m always here for whenever y’all might need anything or even just to talk. See you at the memorial,
