Age 86, of Flint, passed away at McLaren on December 8, 2021. To honor her wishes, there will be no funeral service, and cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on MaryLou’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

We are celebrating the life of Mary Lou Stafford, born on October 28, 1935, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elsworth A. & Ruby E. McDonald. She married James LeRoy Stafford on March 21, 1953. They raised 5 beautiful daughters Debra Lou, Leilani Sue, Rhonda Renee and Mary Lee. She has grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren that she loved. She lived a wonderful 86 years

The ones that proceeded her in the heavens are husband James LeRoy Stafford, daughters Debra Lou Rose-Layman & Diana Lynn Stafford, grandsons Ronald James Daniel Pero & Joshua Waylon Pero, sisters Patricia Sears & JoAnn & Roy Smith and her mom & dad Ruby & Ellsworth McDonald.

She’s survived by her sister Sandra Hunt.Her three daughters; Leilani Sue Stafford, Rhonda & Bill Schafer and Mary Lee & Michael Fox, 12 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren & 11 great great grandchildren and numerous friends

Before she passed away, she was surrounded by five generations of living family. So sad to see a very strong woman to go. She’ll find peace amongst the heavens…
