Lisa Annette Blanton
Age 63, of Burton, passed away on June 21, 2024. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Lisa’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com .
Lisa Annette Blanton was born on August 2, 1960 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Mary (Hager) Palmer. Lisa met James (Skip) Blanton in March of 1980 and they were married November 7, 1981. They shared 34 years of marriage until his death. They raised 2 daughters in Burton, MI. Lisa loved her family and most especially her 2 grand kids whom she was so proud of. She enjoyed the local country music scene and made many friends that way. Lisa also took great pride in her flower garden and especially her Peace rose bushes. She could often be found outside around her pool grilling hot dogs with her family or cooking a delicious meal for them. In the morning you would find her with her beloved poodles at her side and a warm cup of coffee that would be refilled all day.
Surviving Lisa are her two daughters; Nicole and husband, Chad Barr, Melissa Blanton, her grandson Casey and granddaughter Brooklyn May as well as several cousins and nieces and nephews.
Lisa is preceded in death by her husband James (Skip), parents; Charles and Mary Palmer and brother Chuck Palmer.

Lisa was a wonderful neighbor…always prayers for anyone that needed them….looking out for the neighborhood….caring for her flower! I knew if we left on vacation she would watch over our house…many hours of chit chats we shared …she will be missed…loved her❣

We had a GREAT time driving to Oklahoma……we gad lost of times at Christmas making. Breads and cookies……I miss those days….

I am so blessed to have met Lisa. I first met her as one of my patients and then I became to know her as a friend. She will forever be in my heart and I will remember her fondly. Lisa had strong faith in Jesus and I know she is with him now dancing around and I know she will be waiting for me on the other side❤️❤️❤️
I am so very sorry. Lisa was a precious friend to me. We messaged almost daily. Been praying for her for a long time. I am now & will be praying for all of you. Her family was beyond precious to Lisa. I already miss her so very much.

My sincere condolences to the family, Lisa was a very good friend of mine, a piece of my heart goes with her. Her love for family and friends was always abundant and sincere, her grandchildren meant everything to her. Even though she is not physically here with us now, she will live on in the hearts of many.
