Later in life she met the man of her dreams, Gene White, and spent a glorious 54 years with him and their blended family, until his passing in 2016. Her favorite thing in the world was having a house full of people. Any excuse to have a barbecue or full house, she was in! She embodied everything magnificent and beautiful in this world! She was Love and Acceptance. She was gracious, gentle, selfless, and welcoming to everyone. She cherished family and was everyone’s friend. Mrs. Lee was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She always accepted and respected everyone, regardless of their troubles. She loved purely and genuinely. She was perfect.

Leola is survived by her sister Phyllis, her three children, her step-son, many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Leola is preceded in death by her husband, her step daughter, her siblings, and many loved ones.

I loved to just sit around on her front porch (out her on the ridge in the burg) and talk. We would drink a cup of tea as we did. It was a great time.

I shall remember Aunt Leola, especially when I was in High School and they moved to the U.P. where we all were. I used to babysat the kids , and we all became a close family in those days. I shall always remember how she took such good care of herself, and her children. She was a very kind and gentle women. Rest in Heaven Aunt Leola. Love Lou
