Larry S. Hedrick
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry S. Hedrick, age 74, of Davison, Michigan.
Larry was born on December 17, 1951, to John Christian Hedrick and Margaret (Fairman) Hedrick. He spent his life devoted to his family, his work, and the people he loved.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Cherie; his children, Curt Hedrick and Kelly (TJ) Johnson; his stepdaughters, Kristie Ackerman and Kasey (Roland) Baryo; his cherished grandchildren, Tristin, Nolan, Olivia, Reagan, and Adalyn; and his great-grandchildren, Waylon and Amelia. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard and Scott Hedrick, and his sister, Debbie. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, John, Gary, and Douglas Hedrick.
After a long and dedicated 30-year career, Larry retired from GM Buick. In retirement, he enjoyed spending time on the golf course, tending to his garden, and appreciating life’s simple pleasures. However, nothing brought him greater happiness than being a grandfather and great-grandfather. He treasured every opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, celebrate their accomplishments, and create lasting memories with them. His family was the center of his world, and he took immense pride in watching it grow.
Larry will be remembered for his kind and generous heart, his willingness to help anyone in need, and the warmth he brought to those around him. His quiet strength, unwavering love for his family, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the memories he leaves behind and the love he shared so freely throughout his life.
