Larry Elmer Peters


Age 50, of Burton, Michigan passed away on January 11, 2023. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Detroit Cremation Society, 8253 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, Michigan. Pastor Sarah LaRose Nettell to officiate. Larry’s family will be present to receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm. In accordance with Larry’s wishes, cremation will take place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Larry’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

Larry Elmer Peters was born on December 4, 1972, in Grand Blanc, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry and Betty Peters. Larry was a jack of all trades and specialized in the heating and cooling industry. He had plenty of hobbies such as riding various types of off-road vehicles, fishing and playing/modifying remote control cars. He was a wonderful and caring son, husband, father, and brother. He was the definition of a family man and always went the extra mile.

Larry is survived by his wife; Hope Peters, his two children; Larry (Gracie) Peters, and Justin (Kayla) Peters, his grandchild, Theia Peters, and two granddogs, Ares and Luna, his five siblings; Shawn (Paul) Ward, Crystal (George) Lason, Patricia (Mike) Bostic, Cathy Fulton, and Shari Coughlin. He had many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother and father, Larry and Betty Peters, grandparents, Elmer and Gladys Peters, and his brother, TJ Coughlin.

Larry’s obituary was written by his loving family.

    Larry was my Friend and was the Best Installer I have ever met. Ram Heating and Air will miss our Installation Manager!
