Joyce Irene Sleva
Age 90, of Grand Blanc, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Joyce’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Joyce Irene Sleva was born on January 12, 1935, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adlore and Mary (Walters) LaRose.
Left to cherish her memory are husband Robert Sleva of 71 years, and children; Christine (Sleva) Cutter, Robert Sleva, Matthew and Kelly Sleva, Joseph and Cassie Sleva, Ann Sleva, and Anthony Sleva, also her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Joyce was preceded in death by Leigh and Lorraine (Sleva) Spivey.

There is no proper way to express how much aunt Joyce meant to me. In many ways, she felt like the foundation of our family, especially after grandma LaRose passed. She will always be deeply loved.

Joyce was the bestest Nurse and friend at Colombiere we enjoyed so much sharing the days of our lives. An exceptional Friend and Nurse. “I called her Madame Butterfly” a shooting star!!!
