Age 62 of Flint, passed away on July 14, 2023. At Hurley Medical Center peacefully. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on John’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

John Thomas Gardner was born August 9, 1960, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Gladys (Griffith) Gardner. John worked 22 years at D&W Awning of Davison as an Assembler of windows, awnings and All Seasons Rooms. John enjoyed weight lifting, bicycling, hockey and watching sports. He was like a big Teddy Bear. He was always the funniest guy in the room.

John is survived by his brothers; Paul Gardner, Steve Gardner and his sisters, Georgia Janke (Gardner), Victoria Hoskins.

John is preceded in death by his brothers Timothy Gardner, Richard V. Gardner Jr., Mark Albring, his sister Mary Gardner (Arnold).
