Age 64, of Petoskey, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, following a sudden medical event. Jeffrey Otto Winterhoff was born on August 12, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Marion (Hawk) Winterhoff. Jeff made his home in Petoskey, where he enjoyed a quiet, simple life surrounded by the familiar places he loved. He worked in food preparation at Odawa Casino Resort, where he was valued for his reliability and strong work ethic.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Heather Jaber, who remained by his side through his final days.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents: Walter and Marion.
