Age 65, of Pontiac, passed away on November 7, 2022. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Auto City Eagles; G-7445 Clio Rd, Mt. Morris, MI 48458. James “Jim” Robert DeLong was born on March 4, 1957, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Helen (Southwell) DeLong. Jim loved his music and movies, especially his western shows, he could literally watch them all day long. He loved spending time with family and going fishing when he could. He always knew how to make a joke out of any situation.

Surviving James is his mother; Helen DeLong, siblings; Walter DeLong, Warren (Lori) DeLong, and Melinda DeLong, nieces and nephews; Rachel Moses, Robert DeLong, Oscar (Kim) DeLong, Dana Waters, Savonnah (Andy) Walker, Lauren (Jason) Hoover, Jessica (Robert) Lance, Emily DeLong, Lisa DeLong, Alfonso Macias JR, Delfino (Angie) Macias, and many great nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his dad; Robert DeLong, his two nephews; Alfonso Macias Jr. and Kenny Smith, and great-niece; Aurora Walker.
