Age 81, of Onaway, Michigan, formally of Corunna, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Helene’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

Helene Ruth Nau was born on March 15, 1944, in Flint,  Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Anita (Smith) O’Kelly. Helene loved playing cards and going to the casino.  She was an avid outdoors woman with fishing and gardening being her favorites. She enjoyed crafting and crocheting things for her family.  Above all she loved her children and grandchildren and would do anything for them.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 61 years, Perry Nau, Children Tim (Kim) Nau, Kim (John) Cole, and Cheryl (Mark) Anderson,  Grandchildren Matt and Cody Nau, Aunna Zuniga, John and Austin Cole, Sierra and Brett Anderson, Great Grandson James Nau, Sister Anita (Phil) Pipe, and many nieces and nephews.  She also cherished her cat, Stella.

Helene was received in Heaven by her oldest son, James Nau.
