Eva “Darlene” Drummond

Born October 2nd, 1936, died August 14th, 2026.

Darlene, a devout Christian from Grand Blanc, Michigan, returned to God’s loving arms on Friday, August 14th, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Halsey United Methodist Church, 10006 Halsey Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be considered to Halsey United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.

She was born in Brock, Missouri in 1936 to Milo Leon Morgan and Eva Marie (Smith) Morgan on their centennial family farm. She attended school in Memphis, Missouri and belonged to 4-H. She attended Charm School and was top in her county.

Darlene was a devout Christian who cherished Jesus, her Bible, and studying the word. She attended Halsey United Methodist Church in Grand Blanc, Michigan and she always knew the Lord was watching over her and her family.

Darlene’s favorite Bible verse was Isaiah 40:31, which read: “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up on wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” (NKJV). Her Christian values were in every part of her life and molded her into the beloved person she was.

Darlene leaves behind her daughters: Kristina Wood, and Kerri Jackson and husband, Marty; her grandchildren: Ashley Whitaker, Amanda Jackson, and Christopher Gartman; her great-grandchildren: Elisha Whitaker, and Dallas Whitaker; who will all miss her immensely.
