Edward Joseph Bishop
Age 71, of Waterford, peacefully passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at home with family by his side. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expression of sympathy may be shared with the family on Edward’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Ed (Eddie Joe) Bishop was born on September 30, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Edward B. and Joan (Cordola) Bishop. He graduated from Churchill High School in 1972. He enjoyed his lifelong career working many roles in the steel processing industry, becoming well-skilled in his trade.
Ed was the loving husband of Kristine Bishop for 29 years, beloved father of Brad (Breanna) Bishop, Dan (Jennifer) Bishop, Brooke and Eddie Bishop, and Jerrad Clinton, grandfather of 8, great-grandfather of 5, as well as the cherished brother of Denise (Bruce) Day.
