Age 66, of Grand Blanc, passed away on May 20, 2024. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Diana’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

Diana was born on August 7, 1957, in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde and Eileen (Clemens) Cagle. Diana was a 1975 graduate of Lakeview High School in St. Clair Shores. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Detroit and spent her entire professional career working in the automotive industry. Diana loved to garden and to volunteer her time to many of the volunteer organizations in the Detroit Metropolitan area. She also took great pride in serving as the president of the Players Club Condominium Association.

Diana is survived by her loving husband Frank Barretta Sr, son Frank Barretta Jr (Katie), daughter Carrie Henne (Nathanial) and granddaughters Madison, Lucia, Elliana and Fia. She is also survived by her sister Deborah Cagle and brothers Kenneth and Martin Cagle.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard Cagle.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the American Cancer Association, the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, or the Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance.
