Debra Lyn Wright


Debra Lyn Wright peacefully gained her angel wings on February 10th, 2024. A Celebration of Life has been planned for a future date. Close family and friends will be notified.

Debra Lyn Wright was born on May 25, 1960, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Darlene Bleu. She married Russell Wright on December 17th, 1982. Debbie was known for her beautiful smile and charismatic personality. She gained countless friends and regulars during her time of employment, close to 25 years, at Angelo’s Coney Island. Debbie loved her family. She always had a camera to make sure she could capture memories being made. Her favorite season was summer. She enjoyed time at the pool as well as hosting cookouts with her friends and family. She particularly enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and flying to Tennessee to see them.

She leaves to cherish her life and legacy her beloved husband; Russell Wright of 41 years. Son; Steven Coen (Cindy). Daughter; Jodi Bryan (Jamie). Sister; Laurie McGrath; 5 Grandchildren; Victoria (Kourtney), Mason, Ethan, Jobin and Madelyn. Great Grandchildren; Emalee and Kamari. Uncle; Herman Leroy Meyer. Aunts: Louise Doty and Lou Doty (Harvey). Sister-in-law; Cheryl Wright. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Her two very best friends; Renee Bernardi and Sherry Connell.

Debra is preceded in death by her Mother; Darlene Bleu. Son; Jeremy Wright. Uncles; Carl Doty and David Doty. Aunt; Linda Myer.

Debra’s obituary was written by her loving family.
