Debra Jean Skinner
Debra Jean Skinner at 65, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2024 at her home with family at her side after 25 years of battling renal cancer.
Debra was a strong, out spoken, God fearing woman who was born March 17, 1958, to Emma Mitchem. She was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Debra married David Skinner May 15, 1976, and had two children David Skinner Jr. and DeLicia Skinner.
Debra accepted the Lord at an early and she loved to speak about his word every chance she could no matter what she was going through or the circumstance.
Debra’s family was her pride and joy, she treasured spending time with her family and friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her grandparents Lula D Thompson and Oscar Thompson.
She is survived by her loving husband David Skinner Sr; mother Emma Mitchem; sister Pamela Jones; son David Skinner Jr; daughter DeLicia Skinner.
Debra immediate family would like to thank all her friends and family that reached out before her passing. With much gratitude we know that your presence and prayers encouraged her to fight.
The memories of Debra Skinner shall not pass but will be embedded in our hearts forever.
