Dawn (Danhausen) Haskins “Honey”
Sweet as HONEY-Dawn Lee (Danhausen) Haskins, fondly known as HONEY because her first grandchild, Heather, heard her called that by her Opa, Dawn’s husband, Charles Russel Haskins. Honey passed away at the age of 84 in Goodrich on June 18, 2024. Born in Detroit on March 12, 1940 to Basil and Evelyn (Royal) Danhausen. Honey lived a vibrant life filled with adventure and Joy. She was a beloved mother to Christopher (Kathy) Haskins, Kelly (Jeff) Stonerock and Jeffrey Heath Haskins, who preceded her in death. Honey was a cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren: Heather, Cameron, Emma and Duncan Haskins, Devon, Justin, Tyler (Preceded her in death), Jesse and Sydney Stonerock, Taylor (Lemon), Jacob and Zoe Beal. She took pride in being a GREAT Grandma Honey to Abraham and Asher Haskins and Thor Lemon. Honey was a beautiful combination of spunk and sass. She was a talented seamstress, skilled in interior design, a successful realtor and the proud owner of the former hotel , The Inn Between, located on Anna Maria Island. Her zest for life led her to travel the world and experience thrills like skydiving at the age of 60.
