Age 43, of Mount Morris, Michigan passed away on July 5, 2022, at home. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on David’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

David Scott Killey was born on April 22, 1979, in San Jose, California the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve and Kaydell (Betkey) Killey. He was a Firefighter with Cottonwood Fire Protection District for 15 years. He was also a volunteer with the Shasta Lake Fire Department. He worked with Mercy Medical Center as an EMT for 15 years until he moved to Michigan in 2022. He loved to play hockey whether it was on the ice or on roller blades. Most of all, David loved spending time with his family.

Surviving David are his ex-wife, Brandy Killey; daughter, Taylor, step-son, Tanner Carey; girlfriend, Brit Blankenship; mother, Kaydel Killey, two sisters, Char, and husband, Daniel Yettaw, Margaret Nicholson; father; Robert, and wife, Lynn McAllister; two brothers, Shawn, and wife, Jessica, Jake, and wife, Jana McAllister; four nieces, Shannon, Ashley, Dana and Erin; and nephew, Terry.

David was preceded in death by his father, Steven Killey; grandmother, Casey.
