Age 72, of Mt. Morris, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Hurley Medical Center. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. David Allen Laski was born on September 13, 1953, in Genesee, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse and Virginia (Mckee) Laski. He grew up with four sisters and a brother, Deborah, Kathy, Karen, Kristine, and Mark. He attended Ohio State University, obtaining his degree in Computer Science. David worked as the head cook and kitchen manager for Newport Family Restaurant in Owosso, Michigan, for over 25 years. In his free time, he enjoyed playing and watching baseball, golf, and hockey.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Sarah Laski, Becky Laski, Toni Laski Roltgen and Amy Craft; his grandchildren: Zoey, Erick, Aria, Everleigh, Jacob, Gabriella, Noah Grace, Kenna, Dayton; and his great-grandson, Pierson.

David was preceded in death by his parents: Alphonse and Virginia Laski; and his brother, Mark Laski.
