David Allen Bader
Loving husband and father, David Bader, of Goodrich, age 65, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his family on May 22, 2026, after a very brief battle with Bulbar ALS. Born to Norman and Donna Bader in Flint, Michigan on September 6, 1960, David was a salesman both by trade, but also by birth. David was the kind of insightful, charismatic person that could sell water to a fish. An avid sportsman, David golfed regularly and was a lifelong fan of the Wolverines, Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings. When David wasn’t watching his favorite Michigan sports teams, he was in his workshop listening to his favorite 70’s music.
David is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jennifer Bader. Children, Brandon (Leigh) Bader of Florida, Alex (Marissa Burke) of Texas and his grandchildren Brooks and Lylah Bader of Florida. Siblings, Mike (Laura) Bader of Texas, Cheryl Bader (Randy Weaver) of Mesick, Michigan, and Robert Bader of Flushing, Michigan, as well as many nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Donna Bader.
Honoring David’s wishes, cremation has already taken place. In lieu of a service and floral donations, the family is requesting that interested parties instead consider making a charitable donation to one of the following organizations:
Team ALS for the New York City Marathon (click on the name to go to the website)
Harry J Hoenselaar ALS Clinic at Henry Ford Health – Detroit
