Danny Alfred Hogan

June 7, 1948 – December 12, 2023

In loving memory of Danny Alfred Hogan, who departed this world on December 12, 2023 surrounded by his children; Gary, Sara, and Allison. Danny, a man larger than life, left an incredible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.

His booming voice and laugh, echoed the joy he found in every moment. Danny’s passion for Corvette’s, Grand Nationals, and classic cars was evident in his impressive collection, a testament to his love for anything with wheels.

A self-made, successful business man, he carved his own path. Danny had multiple successful businesses throughout his life, with 7-11 & Supercash being his most notable. Danny also coached his children, who competed at the National level in Roller-skating.

His love for travel found his true home in Naples, Fl, which held a special place in Danny and his family’s heart. Despite traveling all over the United States, Naples remained his home.

Danny is preceded in death by his loving mother; Mary, father; Alfred, and younger brother; Gary, whose absences he had felt deeply his entire life. Their reunion in heaven brings comfort to those left behind.

Danny also leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories in the hearts of his four children; Gary Hogan (Kelly Murray), Sara Hogan, Allison Hogan (Justin Gerstenberger) & Buddy Hogan. He also leaves behind grandchildren: Kole, Garret, Brianna, Hali, Ford, and Jack. Danny is survived by his sister, Becky Titmus. In addition to his immediate family, Danny is survived by special cousin, Louis Paris, whose bond held a special place in Danny’s heart. Danny also leaves behind many Paris and Hogan cousins who share many lifelong family memories at the lake house in Holly.

Danny was a staple in the Flint area when I lived there. Pawn Shop, 7 11, Deli at Michigan Merchant Mart. Although I have not been in contact for years, I will always remember his big smile and laugh. We had some great times together back in the day. He was my go to guy for many things. In fact at 19 years old I bought a diamond from him for an engagement ring and still married.

What a guy. Prayers to all his family. God Speed Danny RIP

Danny was a friend at hello to all who met him.
He was truly an entrepreneur and big success. He loved his kids and wanted to share his wealth to them. He was very happy to have Gary his son to take over his Supercash successfully. A beautiful tribute obituary. My condolences to the children. Close friend 42 years. Will truly miss Danny.💜✝️💜

Danny was a good friend to our family for so many years . He used to take me to Auto City Speedway for the races , We would hang out at Hogan Auto Sales with Al and all the Corvette’s, and all of that was great memories with Danny. I remember going to their home to visit his Dad and we would eat sliced Hot Dogs seared in the pan on bread with tons of miracle whip.My Dad Jerry always had a place in his heart for the Hogan family especially Al and Danny. God Bless the Hogan Family. Danny put together a spectacular picture collage with pics from both our families that I have in my office to this day.Thank you Danny…..See you Heaven .
