Daniel Vernon Soper was born on November 26, 1951, in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dean and Jeanette (Powell) Soper.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Julie Soper and Pamela Greshock; and his brother, Daryl Soper.
