Clyde Dale Hippensteel
Age 84, of Gaines, passed away on January 20, 2024. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Clyde’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Clyde Dale Hippensteel was born on October 28, 1939, in North Branch, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde and Lillian (Wells) Hippensteel. He worked as a Tool and Die Maker at GM for 38 years. He loved to hunt and fish, traveling all over the country, having adventures and making lifelong friendships.
Clyde is survived by his daughter; Denise Norman, his son; Ron Hippensteel, his grandchildren; Valerie Hanner, Kathrine (Mitch) Wither, Jeremy (Logan) Hippensteel, Suzanne (Tyler) Warren, Josh Hippensteel , Rebecca (TJ) Fritz, Samantha Hippensteel and 11 great-grandchildren.

To the families of Dale (and Kaye)…We are so sorry that you have lost two very important persons in your lives and thankful to Josh for letting us know. Den and I graduated with them in the Clio Class of 1958. May you be comforted by the many wonderful memories you have shared with them over your lifetime.

What a man!! We have loved him every since we met him. From playing cornhole, laughing and playing guitar around the camp fire, quad riding, cooking quail, joining us for dinner, standing up with us at our wedding!! He was always a super support person as well as kind and funny! We will miss him and Katie every day. We are so proud to have known him and spent special times with him. To the family : you were truly blessed with a great father, and grandfather. How lucky you were to be a part of his life. The Lord has provided you with years of great memories and tons of love. Hold tight to those!!
