Cheryl Ann Parrish
Age 73, of Flushing, passed away on December 11, 2023. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Cheryl’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Cheryl Ann Parrish was born on October 9, 1950, in Wakefield, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver and Louise (Kohler) Foudila. Cheryl was very proud of her Finnish/Slovenian/Yooper heritage. Cheryl embodied the meaning of Sisu (look it up!) Cheryl retired from the Department of Public Safety at Hurley Medical Center. The family asks that those wishing to make donations consider The North End Soup Kitchen in Flint, or their favorite pet rescue society.
Surviving Cheryl is her beloved husband; William Parrish, her two daughters; Lorie (Roger) Birmingham, and Jennifer (Marvin) Coleman, her two grandchildren; Tyler and Hailey, as well as William’s children; Preston and Emily.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents and step-grandson; Trenton Parrish.
