Charles Glenn Rhodes, age 78, of Clio, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.

Charles was born on August 14, 1947, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Donovan and Joyce (Davis) Rhodes. He graduated from Carman-Ainsworth High School in 1966. Charles proudly served in the U.S. Army. Following his service, he built a long and dedicated career as an inspector at Grand Blanc Metal Fab, where he worked for over 36 years and was a proud member of UAW Local 1292.

Charles had a deep passion for history, nature, fishing, and mushroom hunting. He especially enjoyed riding his John Deere Gator and taking part in group rides with the Mud Brothers of the North ORV club. Those who knew him appreciated his generosity, especially toward his family, whom he supported in many quiet and thoughtful ways.

Charles was proudly married to his beloved wife, Suzanne Rhodes, since 1973—over 52 years. He cherished traveling with her to Alaska to visit their daughter, Lynne Rhodes, and grandson, Liam Rhodes Ticarro, who brought him great joy.

Charles was also blessed with many relatives through blended families, including brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews—some who preceded him in death and many who continue to lovingly carry his memory forward.

Left to treasure his memory are Suzanne, Lynne, Liam, and his large extended family, along with all who remembered his love for the outdoors and the simple joys he valued. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
