Caroline Lucile Glasscock was born on May 16, 1942, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Cecile (Snouffer) Burghard. Caroline was a talented and accomplished professional florist, artist, and musician who shared her many gifts generously with those around her. Many will remember Caroline from her more than 20 years working at Perani’s Hockey Shops, where she took great pride in providing expert service to every customer who walked through the doors. She had a genuine warmth and kindness that made everyone feel welcome, and she often thought of the patrons she served not simply as customers, but as family. Caroline also shared her passion for flowers and creativity by teaching floral arranging through the Flint Community Education Program. Her love of the arts extended well beyond floral design, as she was involved with the University of Michigan-Flint Theater Department, Paws Service Dogs, and the Clio Theater. Through her work, talents, and countless friendships, Caroline touched many lives and left a lasting impression on her community.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Charles (Angela) Glasscock of Flint, Roger (Karen) Glasscock of Mt. Morris Township, Cherie Dreyer of Florida, Stephanie (Joe) Stevens of Flint; her grandchildren: Raven (Gaige) Fuller, Austin (Shelby) Williams of Clio; her great grandchildren: Vaida, Zoey, Eleanor, and Evie.
Caroline was preceded in death by her parents: George and Cecile Burghard; her brother: George “Buster” Burghard; her sister: Pat Rosemary; and her grandson: Ryan Elmblad.

Stephanie and Cheese,
So sorry for the loss of your mom. She was always so sweet to be around. I remember her taking care and planning Steph’s first marriage to Chris. Again, my condolences to the both of you (and yes, I’ll always call Chuck “Cheese”.)
