Barbara was born in Detroit on October 2, 1945, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence “Clyde” and Lucretia “Lula” (Chadd) McRill. Raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Barbara graduated from Troy High School with the Class of 1963. After graduation, Barbara would meet Mr. George (Tony) Scott. The two dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage. Their union would be blessed with two beautiful daughters.

An avid reader, Barbara enjoyed the works of Charles Martin, Nicholas Sparks, and any uplifting fictional stories, as long as there was a good ending and strong lesson. She also enjoyed playing card games and attending family get-togethers.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, George Scott; her daughters Becky and husband Travis Walker, Wendy and husband Brian Caloni; her grandchildren Candice, Melissa, and Joshua; and her beloved nephew, Rich, whom she viewed as her own son.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Lula and Clyde McRill; her siblings Buck, Lucille, Louise, Edna, Jean, Paul, and Carolyn; and her grandson Robert.
