Arlene Lyn Cross
Arlene Lyn Cross, age 68, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026. Born in Detroit, Michigan on January 27, 1958, she later moved to Grand Blanc. It was there, alongside her devoted husband, that she built their loving home and together they raised their cherished family.
Arlene’s greatest joy in life was her family, and the warmth she created will be remembered by all who knew her. A woman of gentle beauty, patience and an occasional fiery personality, she possessed a truly spectacular green thumb, pouring her deep love and care into her vibrant garden and flowers. That same nurturing spirit defined her role as the heartbeat of her family. She brought everyone together by hosting the most memorable, love-filled Thanksgiving gatherings and organizing the absolute best annual family camping trips, creating memories that her loved ones will treasure forever. Her family will always remember her love for Euchre and they will forever hold a seat at the card table for her.
She leaves behind her cherished, beloved husband, Robert Edward Cross, Jr., and her three children: Jennifer Lynne Flanders and her husband Scott, Jonathan Edward Cross and his wife Jessica, and Nathan Anthony Cross. Her legacy of love also lives on through her 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Arlene’s life will be held on August 1st at her home in Grand Blanc.

Beautifully said. I’m sure the memories she has helped you build will carry you all through until you see her again.
To the Cross family,
I am so sorry for your loss of your loved one. Sounds like she was a beautiful spirit and how she’ll be an angel watching over your families as always. I pray God gives you all strength, comfort and peace doing this time and every time she crossed your minds it put a smile on your faces instead of sadness. In Jesus name
