Rose Hugh Aitkens
Aitkens, Rose Hugh “R.H.” Age 67, of Flint, Michigan, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at McLaren Flint.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Detroit Cremation Society, 8253 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Pastor Jim Harvey will officiate. Family will be present to receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 12:30 p.m.
R.H. enjoyed fishing, camping, working on cars, and spending time with family and friends. He found joy in the simple things and valued the time spent with those he loved.
R.H. was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Aitkens, in 1987; his father, Samuel Hugh Aitkens, in 1984; and his mother, Anita “Rose” Aitkens, in 2000.
He is survived by his four children: Amanda (Ryan) Coffman and their son; Jason (Mandy) Aitkens, along with their three children and two grandchildren; Stephanie (Jeff) Baker, along with their five children and one grandchild; and Victoria Aitkens and her two children. He is also survived by his brothers, David (Theresa) Aitkens and Johnny Aitkens.
Those wishing to honor R.H.’s memory may send flowers or make memorial contributions to Ryan and Amanda Coffman, his son-in-law and daughter, to assist with memorial expenses. Envelopes will be available at the service.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends durning this difficult time. R.H was a good person. Many of visits with him and his family when they came to Arkansas.
