Mary Elizabeth Harvey
Age 97, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Mary’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com. A celebration of life will take place later this summer.
Mary Elizabeth (Jones) Harvey was born on March 19, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack and Lydia (LaMontagne) Jones. Mary loved traveling with her husband, Bill. She stayed dressed up in the latest fashions. Her favorite days were spent socializing with her friends and family. In her free time she loved solving word puzzles and keeping her mind sharp.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, James (Wendy) Harvey; her grandchildren, Bradley Mullins, Mary Mullins, Shyann Emiry, Jessica (Adam) Osburn, Justin Harvey; as well as 8 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Harvey; her son, Rodney Harvey; her daughter, Pamela Mullins; her sisters, Donna (Tom) Lafave and Marjorie (Ralph) Hunt; her 5 brothers, Ernest (Sue) Jones, George (Julie) Jones, Donald Jones, James (Carol) Jones, Jackie Jones; and her great grandson, Billy Mullins.
