Julius “JJ” Jones, age 61, of Flint, Michigan passed away Monday May 11, 2026. Surrounded by his family, he is now at peace in Heaven. Visitation will be held at Detroit Cremation Society on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow. Julius “JJ” Jones was born November 19, 1964, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo and Isabel Jones. Julius loved his family, country music, and bowling. He loved watching Bonanza and The Dukes of Hazzard. JJ was truly a good ole boy. He was always there to give you a hug, and he will be cherished in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his brothers Bill and Linda Jones, Dave and Sandy Jones, and Robert Jones; sister Sheila and Mike Spaulding; along with several nieces and nephews.

Julius was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharon Lalone.
