Age 72, of Linden, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, surrounded by family. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Sharon’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

Sharon Kay Lawrence was born on December 16, 1952, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Martin and Edith (Young) Smith. Sharon enjoyed her life raising her boys and being a homemaker. Sharon cherished many friendships and enjoyed bowling, softball & watching her kids sporting events.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Bryant (Deborah) Lawrence, Aaron (Cynthia) Lawrence, Alexander (Karen) Cook, father of her sons; Danny Lawrence, grandchildren; Laiken (Brandon) Bobcean, Logan (Lauren) Lawrence, Gavin (Gracie) Lawrence, Elizabeth Lawrence, Mason Cook, Clay Cook and great grandchildren; Bennett, Lincoln, Blayke, Ledger and Brooks. Special niece Laura Kimball.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Charlotte Novak, her brother Marvin Smith, her sister Gaye Taylor and her beloved dog Fluffy.
