Sharon Kay Findley
Ms. Sharon Kay Findley of Clio, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on December 12, 1954, in Truman, Arkansas, the daughter of Vance and Dorothy (Wilson) Findley.
Sharon was a devoted mother who gave everything to not only support her sons, but also her favorite nephew David, and many “adopted” children. She enjoyed the many years she was a barber, and the time she worked as a receptionist at JC Penney. She was treasured by all who met her.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents. She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Joseph Firmingham and his partner Grant Lorenz, and Aaron Firmingham; her sisters Phyllis Findley and Paula Milliron with husband Blair; her brother Ray Findley; her nephew David Milliron; granddaughter Allie Firmingham; and great-nieces and nephews Jacob Milliron, Katie Miller, Jayden Milliron, and Jasmine Milliron.
Her faith was an important part of her life, reflected in the words of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4:
*”Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you… that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”*
Sharon’s obituary was written by her beloved family.

I appreciate that she took me in as one of her own children back in the early 90’s. She has always been a truly amazing friend and mother. I loved being able to get to see her when they lived in Leander TX.
Sharon was a truly beautiful person, with a kind, compassionate, and understanding nature. Her unwavering faith in the Lord it was truly inspiring. She had a profound love for her family that knew no bounds. I feel incredibly blessed to have known her and to have called her family – she will be deeply missed by many.
She loved me even when I was difficult and made it hard for others to love me. She always said I was her first little girl. I remember her and my mom staying up all night playing Pac-Man when we got an Atari. I am so mad that I didn’t go to see her when she moved back to Michigan and never took my daughter to meet my Aunt Sharon. I love you and rest in peace.
