Richard Lewis Wright, age 84 of Flint, Michigan, passed away on March 4, 2026. He was born on December 14, 1943, to Cecil and Mildred (Needham) Wright. He was a Flint native his whole life. He worked for General Motors for 30 years. He was a muscle car enthusiast, had a passion for woodworking and cabinetry, playing pool with his friends and the occasional trip to the casino. He worked hard, played hard, loved his family and enjoyed life.

He is survived by his daughters, Tonya (David) Christman, Yvonne Martini, and Lisa (James) McDonough. His grandchildren: Holly Mitchell, Cassandra (Lucas) Roby, Tyler (Heather) Mitchell, Allison Zarandi, James (Kamerin) McDonough II, Sarah Martini, and David Christman. He also leaves behind several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many great friends.

Predeceased by his parents, brothers, Marion Wright and Lawrence Wright, and sisters, Phyllis Wisner and Audrey Stuart.

As per his wishes, a cremation has taken place and there is will be a small family gathering and no service.
