Michael Lawrence Goldman
Michael Lawrence Goldman, age 85, of Fenton, passed away on October 18, 2024. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Michael’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Michael was born on September 10, 1939, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett and Martha (Ziskin) Goldman. Michael was a proud business owner of the Bayvue Drapery Company for over 50 years. He absolutely loved going to work and being busy. After retirement in 2020, his favorite things to do were work in his yard and visit with the neighborhood dogs. Michael was always an animal lover. In his younger days, he loved to ride horses and teach others horseback riding. Later in life, his passion was dogs of all shapes and sizes, and above all, his children.
Surviving Michael are daughters, Ilise Goldman and Sarah Goldman, son Sam (Gabby) Goldman; grandchildren Ben Burroughs and Rachel Borroughs, and sister Greer of New York.
Michael is preceded in death by his son, Scott Goldman, and his beloved dachshund, Lily.

Mike and my father were very close friends. They are both very missed pillars in my life. I’m praying for his family. I worked for Uncle Mike before as well as my sister and we both enjoyed it. I appreciate my memories of going to Tia helitas and learn from his wealth of wisdom. I love you Uncle Mike forever and always!
