Age 70, of Lapeer, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Mary’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

Mary Frances Hosie was born on May 12, 1955, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Kathleen (Lewis) Wenzel. Mary attended Ainsworth H.S. where she graduated in 1973. Mary enjoyed spending time and picnicking with her grandchildren, crocheting, and doing her diamond art pieces.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert McCracken and wife Shaunette, Sheri Long and husband John David, Lori Cranmer, and Erica Hosie. Her sister, Laura Griffin and husband Scott. Grandchildren, Jamie Long, Niclole Bailey and husband Jeramy, Austin McCracken, Tyler McCracken, Collin McCracken, Johnathan Reece, Christina Reece, William Heltsley, Daniel Heltsley, Josephine Heltsley, and Julianna Heltsley. And her best friend Tami Nibbe.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Kathleen Wenzel, her sister Gina Flannery, both husbands Steven McCracken, and Michael Hosie, and her Nephew Thomas Flannery
