Age 85, of Flint, passed away January 18, 2024. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Marjorie’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com. A memorial service will be held for her at a later date in Texas.

Marjorie was born in Ganado Texas on May 10, 1938. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Able Garcia. Marjorie married Daniel C. Lopez on June 20, 1957 in Texas. They moved to Flint MI in 1968, where they raised their children.

Surviving Marjorie is her loving husband; Daniel C. Lopez, her daughter; Denise Lopez Hoeft (Emitt), her son; Daniel A. Lopez (Cynthia), her grandchildren; Yliana Lopez, Daniel N. Lopez (Kaity), Christine R. Flannery (Ryan), Anglea L Lopez (Bryce Mata), Michael Cardona (Layna).
Great grandchildren; Diria Gill (James), Cortney Collins (Ethan Hill), Miraje Pearson, Neva Dean Flannery, Maxwell Cardona, Isley Mata, Vincent Cardona, her sister Blanche Rodriguez and niece Erica Maier (Scott), and Blanche Pena

Marjorie is preceded in death by her mother; Mary Pena, father; Able Garcia, sister; Maggie Pena, special brother in law; Eloy Rodriguez. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice Kim (Nurse), Mariah (Social worker), Perico (chaplain), for their extraordinary care. May God bless you!
