Marie Bolda
Born on November 26, 1930 in Hamtramck, Michigan. Passed away January 5, 2025 in Lapeer, Michigan.
Marie worked as a party store owner and as an employee of K-Mart Corp. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, and bowling. She was married to George Bolda and is survived by three boys; John, David, and Chris. Marie was known for her compassion, loyalty, and giving spirit. Her devoted love for God was evident in the actions of her life and was a testament to the love of Christ. Her absence will leave a void in the hearts of all of those who loved her.
Marie was proceeded in death by her husband George Bolda, her brother Joseph Fomenko Jr., and her parents Joseph Sr. and Anastasia Fomenko.
She leaves behind her three sons John, David, and Chris (Nancy). Her four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

I dreaded the day I would see this obituary. Marie was a friend of my moms and one of my favorites. I bowled with Marie years and years ago, I truly enjoyed being around her. I have a couple of crafts she made that I will treasure forever. So sorry for your loss David (and John/Chris of course). May she rest in peace, a sweetheart she was.
